Teddy’s, the newest hot bite on Hollywood Boulevard — in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel — will be open this Friday night (the 13th).
Owner Amanda Scheer Demme usually shutters Teddy’s Friday-Sunday. But the 13th marks the fourth anniversary of the death of her husband Ted Demme for whom the nitery is named. He died of a heart attack in 2002 at age 38. He directed “Blow,” “Life” for the big screen well as many TV credits including the Emmy-winning “A Lesson Before Dying.” He is also survived by their eight year-old daughter Jaxon and four year-old son Dexter who was born six weeks before Ted died.
Amanda Demme is also part owner of the Tropicana, the Roosevelt’s poolside celeb watering hole. And she is listening to offers from Las Vegas to expand.
