Warner renews deal with Brazil net

Agreement with SBT extends until 2013

RIO DE JANEIRO — Warner has renewed its output deal with Brazil’s No. 2 net, Sistema Brasileiro de Televisao (SBT), until 2013.

Initiated in 2000, SBT has exclusive rights for terrestrial TV to Warner’s pics, series and cartoons.

The companies did not disclose monetary terms of the agreement.

SBT airs weekly skeins “Center of the Universe,” “Joey,” “Freddie,” “Hot Properties” and “Twins” in primetime plus 18 cartoons every morning. The net also has six weekly movie slots (three primetime and three latenight), of which about 60% are Warner’s.
