Seven adds ‘Two’ to reality lineup

New skein pairs Aussie celebs with entertainers

SYDNEY — Seven Network will be hoping some of the “Dancing With the Stars” sizzle rubs off on the celebrity reality vehicle “It Takes Two,” which it announced Wednesday.

New skein pairs Aussie celebs with some of the country’s best-known entertainers in a duet-singing competition; a judging panel and audience vote will decide the winner. Each week the contestants will have to sing in a variety of styles, including pop, country, rock and big band.

Based on a BBC Entertainment format, “Two” is a co-production between BBC Worldwide and Seven.

The finale of “Dancing With the Stars” on Tuesday drew a boffo 2.6 million viewers –a 60% share — on the night.

Singing stars signed up for “Two” so far include first “Australian Idol” winner Guy Sebastian and “Idol” reject Paulini.
