Kudocast will air on the Nine Network on May 7
Oz’s Logie Awards are getting a makeover to make the 48th edition of the TV kudos more interactive and to attract younger voters and viewers.The winner of the Gold Logie — the top nod for the most popular TV personality — will be decided by a reality TV-style phone and text-message vote from a shortlist of eight nominees. Kudocast will also introduce the Graham Kennedy Award for new talent. Kennedy, known as Oz’s king of television, died in May 2005. The Logies, which have 11 categories, will air on the Nine Network on May 7.
