Sketch comedy show to be produced by O'Donnell

Logo, the network aimed at a gay audience, has greenlit a new comedy series to be co-exec produced by Rosie O’Donnell.

Show, tentatively titled “Simply Sketch,” will be a hotchpotch of live and taped segments, with musical numbers, commercial and movie parodies and a peppering of political satire. Each episode will also feature celebrity guests.

Dan MacDonald and Joe Del Hierro of Oh Really! Prods. will exec produce alongside O’Donnell, as well as several producers and scribes from O’Donnell’s daytime talker.

Skein is slated to preem later in the year.
