Hatch nabbed for tax evasion

Loser of the Week

He outwitted, outplayed and outlasted everyone else in the inaugural edition of “Survivor,” but Richard Hatch couldn’t outfox the IRS.

Hatch was sentenced to 51 months in prison last week for failing to pay taxes on his $1 million prize and other earnings.

And while lying to tribe mates can get you ahead on the show, it won’t win any rewards or immunity in court. Judge Ernest Torres says he upped Hatch’s sentence because the “Survivor” champ perjured himself during testimony.

The court has spoken.
