Baseball edges out soccer for popularity among Latinos

Coverage of the Caribbean World Series begins Feb. 2 on Fox Sports en Espanol, which has renewed its U.S. Spanish-language TV exclusive on the baseball championship for the eighth year.

Teams from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Mexico will compete in the 57th tournament in Venezuela over six days.

Baseball edges out soccer as the most popular sport among many Latinos from the Spanish-speaking countries in and around the Caribbean.

Fox Sports en Espanol also has Spanish-language exclusives on U.S. Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game, Division Series, League Championship Series and the U.S. World Series.
