As the details leak out on the Katie Couric-led “CBS Evening News,” it appears that no detail is too small to warrant some kind of media attention.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Walter Cronkite recorded a voiceover for the newscast, and CBS may actually use it.

And then there’s the new logo, above (and yes, it’s exclusive).

Designed by Boston-based National Ministry of Design, which also created the newscast’s logo, bumpers and credits, the swirling blue and gold is meant to convey “light and warmth,” and be flexible enough to be adapted to tiny screens on cell phones.
