Chef will appear on the ayemer at least twice a month
Food Network chef Giada De Laurentiis has signed a deal with NBC’s “The Today Show” to become a contributing correspondent.
Under the pact, De Laurentiis will appear on the ayemer at least twice a month to discuss current trends in lifestyle, culture and cuisine. Deal follows a guest correspondent stint on “Today” during the 2006 Winter Olympics.
On the Food Network, De Laurentiis hosts her own daily show, “Everyday Italian,” which is heading into its fourth year. She’s also hosted the net’s “Behind the Bash” and several wedding and holiday specials. Her other credits include penning the books “Everyday Italian,” “Giada’s Family Dinners” and the upcoming April release “Everyday Pasta.”
