Stewart tapped as programming topper

TORONTO — Brass at Canada’s pubcaster have split up the sales and acquisition division and tapped Jennifer Stewart director of acquisitions for network programming at CBC Television.

Stewart has been with CBC since 1998, most recently as director of international sales and acquisitions.

“Program acquisitions is a very important source of programming for CBC Television’s schedule,” said Kirstine Layfield, recently appointed exec director of network programming for CBC Television. The pubcaster is recruiting a director of sales.
