LONDON — BBC Worldwide, the pubcaster’s commercial arm, has inked a new three-year output deal with RAI, Italy’s public service broadcaster.
This deal is Worldwide’s 10th output agreement with RAI .
Under the latest contract, RAI will acquire a portfolio of new factual fare for its terrestrial webs, RAI 1, RAI 2 and RAI 3. Some titles also will air on RAI Educational.
Part two of “Planet Earth” is among the first wave of programs purchased under the arrangement alongside a package of “Natural World” titles.
