Albert tapped for All-Star Game

Sports analyst joined by Collins, Kerr

TNT has assigned Marv Albert to do the play-by-play for the 2006 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 19.

Joining Albert as analysts are two former NBA players, Doug Collins and Steve Kerr. The sideline reporters are Craig Sager and David Aldridge.

The All-Star Game is the culmination of a full weekend of TNT programming surrounding the event, highlighted by the “T-Mobile Rookie Challenge” on Feb. 17, featuring the top NBA rookies vs. the top sophomores, and “All-Star Saturday Night,” which encompasses such rivalries as the three-point shootout and the slam-dunk competition.
