What will people goof on about this decade, the way they do about the ’70s?
“This decade is a blend of all the looks of the past. All the styles are clashing together but I’m not really sure what people will remember since there are so many things going on. I do think everybody will remember the iPod, though.”
What should be brought back from that era? Retired?
“The careless sense of freedom. That sense of innocence, which we unfortunately don’t have today. We have so much to worry about today.”
What have you learned about the ’70s by being on the show?
“I have learned that kids are going to be kids and are going to do the same thing over and over again, decade after decade. No matter the era, kids’ feelings are timeless. The show has created that window for me — that everyone can relate to each other no matter what.”
