Aniston steals the show
NEW YORK — Of the bevy of celebs who participated in Monday’s sixth annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, Jennifer Aniston got the crowd most excited.
The one-night-only benefit featured six plays written, cast and performed in a single day.
“You will see six new works of art never seen before and possibly never to be seen again,” production producer Tina Fallon joked before the show.
Aniston’s onstage appearance, alongside Rosie Perez, Lynn Whitfield and David Cross, triggered audience applause, which forced the star to pause before delivering her first line.
Julianna Margulies also received a little extra attention from the crowd when she broke out laughing in the middle of a line.
Thesps celebrated their 24-hour accomplishment at the Whisky Bar in the W Times Square.
