VIP 'History' students

LONDON — There’s nothing like a brush with royalty to cheer up tired and emotional young thesps.

At the Oct. 2 royal charity premiere of “The History Boys” at Odeon Leicester Square, Prince Charles and wife Camilla were on hand to greet Brit cast members at the world preem of Fox Searchlight’s bigscreen adaptation.

Royal bash welcomed all eight “History” boys as well as cast members Richard Griffiths and Penelope Wilton and writer Alan Bennett.

Preem was in aid of the Prince’s Trust charity, which helps improve the lives of troubled youngsters.
