One bow more for ‘Les Miz’

Latest revival was feted at Tavern on the Green

Rosie O’Donnell and Joan Rivers turned out to storm the barricades Nov. 9, joining the rest of the crowd at the opening of the six-month Broadway return of “Les Miserables.”

Latest “Les Miz” was feted at Tavern on the Green, as much a New York stalwart as the long-running show.

Multitasking was the order of the evening for both producer and creatives.

Gotham legiters will be seeing producer Cameron Mackintosh at another opening this week — Mackintosh’s “Mary Poppins,” a co-production with Disney Theatrical, bows Thursday.

And the Gallic creators of “Les Miz,” Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil, will be back in New York in the spring with their latest tuner, “The Pirate Queen,” skedded to open April 5.
