Filmmakers take over Club 33

Movie folks gather in Disneyland for bash

Not so much a premiere as a party for the pitch, “Directing for Dummies” took over Disneyland’s Club 33 on Monday to demonstrate what the proposed film is about. “When you go into a meeting with a creative executive and you only got seven minutes to convey your concept something’s going to get lost in the process,” said director-producer Brett Tomberlin. “So we developed a trailer that clearly outlines the idea. People trust what they see more than they hear.”
