At the post-performance celebration for the show, a dark story of family secrets based on Thomas Vinterberg’s 1998 Danish film “The Celebration,” Ali MacGraw — who co-stars alongside Julianna Margulies, Jeremy Sisto and Larry Bryggman — talked about her Rialto debut.
A dinner party takes place onstage every night. How’s the food?
“It comes from the Algonquin,” she said at Tavern on the Green, which hosted the shindig. “So if we haven’t eaten lunch, it’s not such a big deal.”
But in live theater, you never know what’s going to happen. Especially during the play’s final, frozen tableau.
“My nose itched, right before my last line!” MacGraw said.
