Entertainment attorney Lawrence (Larry) Greaves died Jan. 23 from cardiac arrest in Los Angeles. He was 54.

Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Hollywood United Methodist Church, 6817 Franklin Ave.

Greaves was managing partner at Bloom, Hergott, Diemer, Rosenthal and LaViolette, where for more than 25 years he specialized in business organization and financial transactions in the entertainment industry. Born in Dallas, Texas, he graduated Harvard U. and the U. of Texas.

He served as chairman of the board of the Oaks Schools in Los Angeles and served on the board of the Los Angeles Tennis Club.

Greaves is survived by his wife, Lorraine Johnson, a daughter; a son; his parents, and a sister.
