Exhibition exec Harold Lager died June 13 of complications from pneumonia. He was 68.

Lager started in the film business for Universal Pictures and became branch manager in New York. He later joined 20th Century Fox in a senior sales capacity. In the mid 1960s, he joined the United Artists Theatre Circuit as New York film buyer. He then joined with Martin Goldman as co-owner of Mini-Theatres, a booking and buying circuit in the Northeast.

He is survived by his wife Melanie, three sons and a grandaughter.
