Ferriter, Rosen move up at tenpercentery
The William Morris Agency has made some key TV moves, upping John Ferriter to worldwide head of nonscripted TV and naming Jon Rosen to head of East Coast television.
Promotions were announced Wednesday by William Morris prexy Dave Wirtschafter.
Wirtschafter called Ferriter and Rosen “innovative and dedicated agents” as well as “exceptional leaders.”
Announcement rewards Ferriter for his involvement in putting together some of TV’s top reality hits, including “The Biggest Loser,” “Fear Factor” and “Project Runway.”
Ferriter previously served as senior veep of TV/cable syndication and network reality department, as well as head of network alternative television. Beyond series, Ferriter has also helped rep talent such as Larry King, Ryan Seacrest, Nancy O’Dell, Montel Williams, Tom Green and Candace Bushnell.
Ferriter, who’s worked at William Morris for 14 years, has also repped companies such as the Gurin Co. and Don Mischer Prods.
New York-based Rosen has been a WMA agent since 1997. He most recently served as senior VP, heading the agency’s cable and syndication TV department on the East Coast.
Rosen’s clients include Rachael Ray, Spike Lee, Bobby Flay, Courtney Cox, Donny Deutsch and Giada De Laurentiis.
