UTA agent joins Rudin as veepee

Morley ankles agency for VP position

UTA lit agent Geoff Morley will leave the percentery to become vice president of Scott Rudin Prods.

Morley, who’ll move to New York, was hired by Rudin and company president Mark Roybal.

Morley’s been an agent at UTA since 2002. His clients have transitioned to other UTA agents.

“I got to know Geoff as an agent and found him to be a talented, dynamic guy with an appetite for quality material,” Rudin said.

UTA partner and lit department head Jeremy Zimmer, who trained Morley and promoted him, said the agency will miss him.

“Knowing what his ambitions are, and the opportunity to live in New York and work in film and theater, I can see why he is excited by it, and we support his decision,” Zimmer said.
