Style fashions senior VP

Brooks to head up original programming unit

Style Network has tapped Elaine Brooks senior VP of development, with spearheading development of original programming among her responsibilities.

Brooks comes to Style from Twentieth Television, where she served in the same post. There, she helped guide shows such as “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” “Good Day Live” and “Ambush Makeover,” which now airs on the Style Network.

Prior to her position at Twentieth, Brooks served as VP of development for Imagine TV, where she played a hand in the development of scripted shows including “24.”

Brooks has also worked as a VP of programming for Eyemark Entertainment (now King World); as director of development for Columbia TriStar Television Distribution; and as a freelance talkshow producer, working on “Jenny Jones,” among other series.

Style, now in its seventh year, boasts shows including “Isaac,” hosted by fashion and media personality Isaac Mizrahi, as well as “Fashion Police,” “How Do I Look?” and the recently launched “Try My Life” and “Relationship Rehab.”
