‘Stewart’ ups Young

Co-exec producer will take the helm of NBCU talker immediately

Bernie Young has been upped to co-exec producer of “The Martha Stewart Show.”

He replaces co-exec producer Rob Dauber, who has ankled the skein. Dauber was a recruit of “Martha” exec producer Mark Burnett; pair worked together on NBC’s “The Restaurant.”

Young will take the helm of the NBC Universal talker, which was renewed last week for a third season, effective immediately.

Stewart and Burnett executive produce.

“Bernie is a seasoned professional who has enthusiasm for and a keen understanding of the kind of program we do here every day,” Stewart said in a statement.

Young previously exec produced “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.”
