Sony Pictures TV has added two execs — WB vet Tal Rabinowitz and Spelling alum Jason Clodfelter — to its development roster.
Rabinowitz and Clodfelter will serve as vice presidents of development for the studio, with Rabinowitz focusing on comedy and Clodfelter on drama. Both execs will report to Sony Pictures TV co-presidents Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg, who made the announcement Tuesday.
Erlicht called the execs “smart, passionate and creative thinkers,” while Van Amburg said the exec shuffle continues the studio’s team structure.
Clodfelter most recently served as vice prexy of development for Spelling TV, where he worked on several pilots and served as the creative exec on TNT’s “Wanted.” His previous gigs included stints at John Wells Prods.
Rabinowitz served as director of comedy development at the WB from 2001-05, helping launch the shows “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment,” “What I Like About You” and “Twins.” She also has worked at Acme Prods. and Bunim-Murray Prods.
