‘Makeover’ going in Style

Net buys rerun rights to Alphabet reality skein

The Style Network has bought rerun rights to 55 hours of the ABC reality series “Extreme Makeover” from Buena Vista TV.

On Tuesday, Style has scheduled an “Extreme Makeover” marathon, and six days later, the series will run every weekday evening at 7.

Style, which reaches 43.3 million homes, has put together an aggressive programming schedule for the summer, including the new series “Instant Beauty Pageant” and “Try My Life,” as well as fresh episodes of the returning shows “How Do I Look,” “Clean House” and “Whose Wedding Is It Anyway.”

The only other off-network series Style picked up was “Martha Stewart Living” two years ago.

Salaam Coleman Smith, executive VP of Style, engineered the deal with the Buena Vista division of Walt Disney, which owns a minority stake in Style and its sister network E! Entertainment TV.
