Fall shows set N.Y. fest bows

NEW YORK — ABC has chosen the New York Television Festival as the venue for the preem of its fall comedy series “Knights of Prosperity,” which chronicles a band of misfits plotting to rob Mick Jagger.

Gotham-shot show is the third premiere scheduled for the fest, which will host a red-carpet preem of NBC’s “Kidnapped” and the first public screening of OLN’s “Off the Hook,” as well as a screening of Fox’s drama “Standoff.”

Second annual festival, which opens Sept. 12, will screen 22 indie pilots in five categories as part of its competition adjudicated by a panel of celebrity judges including Mike Scully, exec producer of “The Simpsons”; “Big Brother” host Julie Chen; and talkshow host/chef Rachael Ray.
