Christian-based multimedia company Good News Holdings has hired Shawn Carroll as chief operating officer and Jeff Anderson as exec VP of strategic growth.
Chairman George Barna made the appointments.
Company was founded last year by Barna, E! co-founder Christopher Chisholm, ex-Paramount prexy David Kirkpatrick, producer Martha Cotton, Silicon Valley exec Rich Christopher and Thom Black.
It is developing the Anne Rice novel “Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt” as one of its feature projects. Aside from faith-based features, Good News is working on projects for the Internet, FaithMobile cellular service and TV.
Carroll last served as exec veep of the think tank American Quality Foundation and has spent the past 24 years in executive development and marketing roles. Anderson is CEO of Leadership, a Kansas City- and San Diego-based nonprofit Christian resource center.
