Fox can’t resist ‘Bait’

Bruckheimer project added to development roster

Fox is looking to extend its relationship with Jerry Bruckheimer, adding the TV powerhouse’s project “Bait” to its development roster.

Net has made a put pilot commitment to “Bait,” which revolves around privately contracted undercover agents tapped to entrap criminals. Jake Wade Wall, whose credits include the screenplay for the feature “When a Stranger Calls,” is penning the script.

Studio attached is Warner Bros. TV, where Bruckheimer is set up. Bruckheimer will exec produce, along with his TV head, Jonathan Littman. Wall is signed on as co-exec producer, while KristieAnne Reed is consulting producer.

At Fox, Bruckheimer TV and Warner Bros. TV are behind the upcoming legal procedural “Justice,” which bows Aug. 30 at 9 p.m.

Wall is working on the feature projects “Amusement,” “Anguish” and “Clock Tower.”
