Mott to focus on direction of web
SYDNEY — Ten Network has shuffled its exec pack to allow program topper David Mott to focus more on the strategy and direction of the web’s programming and less on day-to-day scheduling.
The web has brought over programming director Beverley McGarvey from TV3 in New Zealand; Canadian media group CanWest owns both Ten and TV3 and McGarvey will report directly to Mott.
Program manager Peter Andrews will move to Melbourne in the newly created role of network programmer, Melbourne, to oversee Ten’s operations there.
Mott’s title will change to chief programming officer and he will continue to report to Ten topper Grant Blackley.
