‘Chief’ on the shelf

Nothing officially decided about Davis skein's fate

“Commander in Chief” may finally be kaput.

After two low-rated episodes. ABC has pulled the season’s final three episodes from its sked, effective immediately. “PrimeTime” will return to the 10 p.m. timeslot starting Thursday.

It’s expected the remaining “Commander” segs will air sometime after the end of the May sweeps, most likely in June.

Nothing’s been officially decided about the fate of Touchstone TV-produced “Commander,” but the sked move isn’t a good sign — and likely is the final straw for the Geena Davis starrer. Alphabet will announce its fall plans in two weeks.
