Sepulveda upped while Power rejoins team
Warner Bros. TV has upped longtime studio exec Anthony Sepulveda to senior VP of casting.
As part of the changes at the studio’s casting department, former Warner Bros. exec John Power has rejoined the team as director of casting. Moves were announced Wednesday by Mary Buck, Warner Bros. TV’s casting department head.
Buck, who also serves as senior VP of the department, called Sepulveda and Power “accomplished executives.”
Sepulveda and Power assist Buck in overseeing casting on all series and development at Warner Bros. TV; they work closely with independent casting directors hired to handle each series (a move implemented by Buck in 2003).
Sepulveda has spent 18 years at Warner Bros. TV, most recently as VP. He has earned three Emmy noms including two for “The West Wing” and one for “Fail Safe.”
Power returns to Warner Bros. from NBC, where as a casting exec he handled pilots such as “Heroes” and the series “The Office” and “Las Vegas.” He spent three years at Warner Bros. TV’s New York office. His credits also include a stint at Fox.
