Variety promotes trio of execs

Einstein, Gott, Glen get bumped up

Variety has boosted the responsibilities of three execs.

Rose Einstein has been promoted to senior VP and publishing director of the Variety Group. In her expanded role, Einstein will continue to oversee sales and marketing for Variety as well as the publishing operations of Video Business and Tradeshow Week.

Brian Gott has been upped to VP and associate publisher and Jennifer Glen is now managing director of the Variety Online Group.

Gott will manage the domestic sales operations of Variety‘s print properties, including advertising sales, special issues programming and strategic business development for Daily Variety and Variety. He most recently was managing director of special issues development & programming. He joined Variety in 1999.

Gott will continue to report to Einstein.

Glen will drive business development and content deals for Variety‘s growing online portfolio, which includes Variety, VarietyCareers, Stylephile, Video Business, Tradeshow Week and 411. She will continue to oversee operations and sales for She joined Variety in 2004.

Glen will continue to report to Kevin Davis, VP of Variety Online Group.
