In his new part-time role as chairman of Blighty soccer club Millwall, UIP topper Stewart Till has appointed Nigel Spackman as the team manager.
Till, who will leave United Intl. Pictures by the end of the year and is yet to announce his next gig, said: “I’m very delighted. Nigel is a top class manager who will take Millwall back at the very least to the Championship League.”
Millwall has a history of hooliganism and its semi-official slogan is “No one likes us, we don’t care,” but most recently the club hit the headlines for being relegated from the league.
Spackman, who was assistant manager of Sheffield United, replaces David Tuttle who ankled in April.
