Agency for the Performing Arts has promoted Ryan Martin to head its motion picture/television talent department.
He will run day-to-day operations and oversee 14 agents who rep 250 clients. Prexy-CEO Jim Gosnell made the appointment.
Martin had been vice president of APA’s talent division. He started his career a decade ago at UTA, then moved for two years to W&A before joining APA in 2002.
APA purchased a 30,000-square-foot building on Beverly Drive that will be renovated to become the agency’s new L.A. headquarters. Agency also recently reopened its New York office.
