MIAMI — Stateside Spanish-language pay TV programmer TuTV, a joint venture of Univision Communications and Mexico’s Televisa, has promoted Chris Fager to prexy-CEO.
He replaces Mark Feldman, who left earlier this year to join Univision corporate, a move that has just been announced.
Part of the launch team of E! Entertainment Television, Fager joined TuTV in 2003 and most recently was senior VP of business affairs.
TuTV also promoted Damaris Rodriguez to director of advertising sales.
TuTV distributes five Spanish-language pay TV channels in the U.S. — film feevees De Pelicula and De Pelicula Clasico, and music nets Telehit, Ritmoson Latino and Bandamax. All are programmed by Televisa’s pay TV division in Mexico.
