Comedy Central has upped Peter Risafi to senior VP, brand marketing and executive creative director. He will report to exec VP-general manager Michele Ganeless.
In his newly expanded role, Risafi will be responsible for all brand creative and strategic marketing. He’ll remain based at Comedy Central’s New York HQ, where he also will oversee all network-related consumer products and special events efforts.
Risafi has spearheaded two network brand redesigns since joining Comedy Central. Previously, he was executive producer and creative director for the launch of SoapNet for Disney/ABC Cable Networks and VP-creative director of Lifetime’s on-air and print advertising.
