Q4 revs rise 5% at Gaul net TF1

Ad coin rose 3% to $573.5 million

PARIS — TF1, France’s leading commercial broadcaster, posted fourth-quarter revenues of e817.9 million ($998.3 million), up 4.7%.

Ad coin for the quarter rose 3% to $573.5 million, while non-core revenues rose 7.2% to $424.8 million.

Full-year advertising revenues fell 0.1% to just over $2 billion, while non-core revs rose 1.9% to $1.5 billion.

TF1 singled out the standout perfs of several divisions, notably Eurosport Intl., its global sports web, whose revenues rose 7%, and Internet subsid E-tf1, whose revenues doubled to $102 million.

Company is selling its digital platform TPS to bigger rival Canal Plus. TF1 will hold a 9% stake in the combined entity.
