Fox has tapped Shannon Ryan and Elissa Johansmeier to head up its day-to-day PR operations.
Ryan will serve as veepee for entertainment publicity, based in Los Angeles. She’ll supervise the net’s PR staff and manage all things related to entertainment PR, including national publicity campaigns.
Johansmeier, based in Gotham, is now VP of publicity and corporate communications. She’ll supervise the net’s Gotham PR staff and handle communications responsibilities for Fox’s sales unit.
Both execs report to Joe Earley, exec VP of publicity, corporate communications and creative services.
Ryan’s been with Fox since 1994, working on campaigns for “That ’70s Show,” “Family Guy” and Arrested Development.” Johansmeier has been at the net since 2003, having previously run her own praisery.
In a series of promotions, Earley also upped Jason Clark to exec director of publicity; named Todd Adair, Jill Hudson Bell and Kim Fitzgerald Kurland directors of publicity; and tapped Alexandra Gillespie, Joshua Governale and Michael Roach as managers.
