Platform acquires Public Eye

Media group picks up praisery

Platform Media Group has acquired the Public Eye, the boutique praisery founded by former BWR managing director Henry Eshelman.

PMG, an entertainment and marketing subsidiary of Hong Kong-based investment holding company Spackman Group, has been acquiring entertainment marketing firms since October of last year.

The goal is to create a large, non-traditional marketing agency covering entertainment and talent PR, event marketing and production, corporate branding and media property development.

Latest acquisition follows PMG’s January purchase of Platform Public Relations, founded by Siri Garber.

The group has since adopted the Platform name and re-branded itself as Platform Media Group. Headquarters is in New York with offices in Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Seoul.
