H'w'd gives auds a Choice

HOLLYWOOD — Chaos reigned at the People’s Choice Awards Tuesday as emcee Craig Ferguson showered a hungry audience with crackers, followed by water, surmising: “That’ll be a lawsuit!”

Among the night’s big winners was George Lucas, accepting top nods for favorite movie and movie drama for “Star Wars: Episode III –Revenge of the Sith.” Lucas embraced fans and dissed crix, saying: “I’m not a favorite of the critics, but who listens to them? The audience rules.”

Polls also proved everybody loves Ray Romano, as thesp claimed favorite male TV star and the former sitcom snatched the TV comedy nod. Co-star Brad Garrett taunted Romano: “You beat Kiefer Sutherland. Isn’t that wrong to you?”

Sandra Bullock had bet against her win for female movie star. “I think you picked the wrong person, but I’ll take it,” she said. “When I see my picture in the Enquirer, it doesn’t look like a movie star.”
