LONDON — American producer Elliott Kastner and London-based multihyphenate Alki David will bow sales company 111 Pictures at the Cannes Film Festival next week.
Company will rep a library of films primarily from Kastner’s back catalog, including “A Chorus of Disapproval,” starring Anthony Hopkins and Jeremy Irons, plus a new slate including romantic comedy “Opa,” which stars Matthew Modine as an archaeologist hunting a lost biblical artifact on a Greek island. David, writer-director of 2004 actioner “The Freediver,” also stars.
The outfit also will offer a DVD download network — a business-to-business rights management system for DVD downloads that it will demonstrate to distribs at Cannes. David and Kastner are joined in their Soho, London, offices by head of sales Tony Lytle, who has moved from In Motion Pictures. Lytle formerly worked for New Line and Sony. Eroulla Constantine is sales VP.
