Myriad Pictures has tapped Hollywood sales agent Ann Dubinet to serve in the newly created position of president of distribution, overseeing all theatrical sales deals for the company.
Dubinet will report to Myriad prexy-CEO Kirk D’Amico. She begins her new gig at the financing, production and worldwide sales company immediately.
Most recently, Dubinet specialized in arranging film financing deals, working for a client roster that included Phoenix Pictures, Media Focus Partners and Mobius Intl. Before that, she ran her own company, Alchemy Filmworks, doing both financing and sales.
Previously, she was prexy of international distribution for Samuel Goldwyn.
She was recruited from Goldwyn to head up international sales for Chris Blackwell and John Heyman’s joint venture Island/World.
Myriad’s upcoming film slate includes “Copying Beethoven” starring Ed Harris and Diane Kruger, “Factory Girl” starring Sienna Miller and “Death Defying Acts” with Guy Pearce. Recent titles include biopic “Kinsey” and Oz drama “Little Fish.”
