Top officials, parliament pay tribute to film biz

Indonesia’s Grand Hotel party on Tuesday night gave way to Balinese dancers who were dressed in colorful costumes and held incense-burning flowers.

Without paparazzi-friendly celeb visits, event was an intimate affair with top officials and members of Indonesia’s parliament paying tribute to the country’s relatively undiscovered film industry.

Guests included Jakob Tobing, the ambassador of Indonesia, and Kim Soo-il, Korean honorary counsel to the country.
