Paul FitzPatrick has resigned as chief operating officer and exec VP of the Hallmark Channel.
FitzPatrick temporarily assumed chief exec duties when net’s former prexy-CEO, David Evans, resigned in May.
Hallmark parent company Crown Media named former Court TV chief Henry Schleiff as the net’s prexy-CEO on Oct. 4.
In addition to his role overseeing Hallmark Channel’s distribution, network operations, IT and human resources, FitzPatrick, who joined Crown Media in 2000, was company’s principal liaison with industry associations and Capitol Hill on matters of public policy. He was also responsible for the launch of the net’s second 24-hour linear channel, Hallmark Movie Channel.
Prior to joining Crown, FitzPatrick served as COO of the Golf Channel.
