“Project Greenlight” winners Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan have set up campy horror saga “The Vineyard” as a weekly series for Fox, with 20th Century Fox Television onboard to produce.
Order comes just one week after Melton and Dunstan sold feature thriller “The Neighbor” to the Weinstein Co.’s Dimension Films (Daily Variety, Sept. 25).
Duo, behind the “Greenlight” horror pic “Feast,” will pen the pilot, which revolves around an affluent group of high school seniors who fall prey to a mysterious killer in Martha’s Vineyard.
John Shestack is attached to produce. Melton and Dunstan will serve as executive producers.
Pair will write “The Neighbor” for Dimension. Dunstan will direct a second project for the studio titled “Midnight Man,” about a man confronted with a kidnapping situation after he breaks into the home of his employer.
