Fox shifting Brazil exec to Oz post

Oliveira new managing director for Fox Australia

Fox Intl. has tapped Marcos Oliveira, now its managing director of 20th Century Fox Brazil, as managing director for Fox Australia.

Patricia Kamitsuji, currently sales director in the Brazil office, will replace Oliveira as Brazil’s managing director. Oliveira will relocate to Sydney on Jan. 16.

Kamitsuji will report to Eduardo Echeverria, senior VP of Fox Latin America, and Oliveira will report to Sunder Kimatrai, VP of Fox Asia/Pacific.

Oliveira has been in the Brazilian post for the past decade, supervising marketing and distribution of such films as “Titanic,” the second “Star Wars” trilogy and the “X-Men” films. He joined Fox from Bunge Alimentos, where he was marketing director of consumer products.

Kamitsuji has been sales director at Fox Brazil since January 2003. She came to Fox from Hoyts General Cinema, where she was general manager for more than three years.
