Fox Cable Networks has hired former Brad Grey TV exec Tony Carey as VP of production for business and legal affairs.
Carey, who will report to FCN senior VP Kelly Cline, will oversee production for the pilots and series produced by FX while working with the outside studios who collaborate with the cabler.
Exec will also assist the 30-plus Fox-owned cable and satellite programming services.
Carey previously spent 18 years at Brad Grey TV and Brillstein Grey Entertainment, rising to VP of production. During his tenure, he oversaw the physical production of “NewsRadio,” “Just Shoot Me,” “The Larry Sanders Show,” “Mr. Show,” “The Wayne Brady Show” and “The Steve Harvey Show.”
