ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” crew has a new forewoman: Denise Cramsey.
Cramsey has been upped to exec producer and showrunner of the Alphabet’s home-construction hit, produced by Endemol USA. She had been co-exec producer since joining the show in 2004.
Move follows the departure of original “Home” showrunner Tom Forman, who’s ankling for a new overall deal at CBS Paramount Network Television (Daily Variety, March 30).
Endemol USA prexy David Goldberg said Cramsey’s appointment “will provide a seamless transition for the entire production and ensure continued success of the show.”
“Home Edition” is the top show in the 8 p.m. Sunday hour, averaging a 6.0/14 in adults 18-49.
Before “Home,” Cramsey worked on a number of TLC skeins, including “A Baby’s Story” and “A Wedding Story.” She also was exec producer of “Trading Spaces” from 2000-03, when the skein was setting basic-cable ratings records.
Cramsey ankled “Trading Spaces” to hang out her own shingle, producing the USA Network skein “House Wars.”
