Peggy Jo Abraham has been promoted to exec producer of E! News.

Abraham came to the cabler’s entertainment news show in 1997 as a managing editor. She became news director in 2000.

Her L.A. career began as a reporter, line producer and head writer for KTLA’s “News at Ten.”
